Description:
THIS… is a 1967 Ford Mustang GTA Fastback, finished in Candy Apple Red over a black interior.
This Mustang is a true S-code GTA, originally sold new in Covina, California, and spent the majority of its life in the Southwest United States. The car reportedly sold for a record-breaking price at the Barrett-Jackson auction in 2003, and fewer than 1,500 miles have been added in the past 18 years.
Power comes from a rebuilt 390ci V8, paired with an automatic transmission. Factory equipment includes air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. The drivetrain is completed by a Positraction rear end with 3.55 gearing, offering strong performance and comfortable cruising.
The car was professionally color-changed from Moss Green to Candy Apple Red, while retaining 100% of its original body panels. The exterior presents very well and highlights the fastback’s iconic lines.
Inside, the car features a beautiful reproduction Deluxe interior, finished in black and consistent with the car’s overall excellent condition.
With its desirable S-code drivetrain, GTA specification, documented auction history, and limited recent use, this 1967 Mustang GTA Fastback represents a highly collectible and well-preserved example of Ford’s late-1960s muscle era.
