THIS… is a 1967 Pontiac GTO Hardtop, finished in its original Code “N” Burgundy with a black Cordova vinyl roof over a black interior.
The body was taken down to bare metal and refinished in modern basecoat/clearcoat paint, while the vinyl roof was redone using correct materials. The paint is approximately eight years old and shows minor flaws consistent with age, though these do not detract from the car’s strong presence. All chrome and stainless trim are in excellent condition. The factory Soft Ray tinted glass remains in very good condition, with minor scratches on the rear window, while the front windshield is a newer replacement and crystal clear.
The car rides on factory date-code–correct 14x6J Pontiac steel wheels with chrome trim rings and center caps, wrapped in Uniroyal Tiger Paw radial tires for improved ride quality.
The interior is original and unrestored, with the exception of replaced carpeting, and presents in excellent condition. Features include bucket seats, simulated walnut woodgrain trim and steering wheel, full-length center console, full instrumentation, seat belts, and factory air conditioning. A RetroSound AM/FM Bluetooth stereo with Verba-Phonic rear speaker is installed, and the original factory AM radio is included with the car.
Under the hood is a recently rebuilt high-performance Pontiac V8, featuring flat-top pistons with valve reliefs, a hydraulic camshaft with heavy-duty valve springs, 2.11-inch intake and 1.77-inch exhaust valves, high-flow cast-iron heads, a low-restriction air cleaner, and dual exhaust. The engine was align-honed, balanced, and blueprinted, and has accumulated approximately 1,000 miles since rebuild. It is reported to start easily and idle smoothly.
Power is delivered through a W-code wide-ratio fully synchronized 4-speed manual transmission, feeding a 12-bolt GM rear axle with 3.23 gears and Positraction. Optional front disc brakes and rear drums provide confident stopping power, while power steering and the full-frame chassis deliver a smooth, composed driving experience.
Overall, this 1967 GTO represents a well-optioned, beautifully presented example with strong mechanicals, excellent originality inside, and classic muscle car character—an outstanding car to own, drive, and enjoy.
