Description:
THIS… is a 1965 Jaguar Mark X 4.2 2-Door Convertible, finished in red over a white leather interior.
This is a left-hand-drive example equipped with dual fuel tanks. The car benefitted from a complete mechanical and suspension rebuild in 2003 and is reported to have never had any rust. The seller states the car runs and drives very well and has been stored in a climate-controlled environment.
According to the seller, this is one of only two known LHD examples in existence, and one of just 10 cars produced by Classic Cars of Coventry Coachbuilders. The car was featured in Jaguar World Magazine (August 2003).
The car spent its life in California prior to acquisition approximately 20 years ago and has continued to be stored in a climate-controlled facility since. With just 38,000 miles, this Mark X Convertible presents as a rare and well-preserved coachbuilt Jaguar.
